PriceWatch ("the extension", "we") is a browser extension that lets you track the price and stock availability of product pages you choose to monitor. This policy explains exactly what data the extension handles. In short: your data stays in your own browser. We do not run a server, we do not collect personal information, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.
This information is stored locally on your device using the browser's standard storage
(chrome.storage). It is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
We do not collect or process personally identifiable information, health, financial or authentication data, your location, your general browsing history, or your keystrokes. The extension only accesses the specific product pages you manually add to it.
To check a price, the extension fetches the product page at a URL you added and reads the price and availability from that page's public data. These requests go directly from your browser to the store's website. No browsing activity is logged or sent to us.
The free version uses no third-party services. If you choose to subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by our payment provider (ExtensionPay and Stripe). In that case your payment details are handled directly by those providers under their own privacy policies; we never receive or store your card details.
We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose, and never for advertising, credit, or lending decisions.
Because all data is stored locally, you are in full control. You can remove tracked items inside the extension at any time, or remove all data by uninstalling the extension.
PriceWatch is a tool for online sellers and is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
